3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer
Due to a period of extended growth, we are currently recruiting for a 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer to join the business.
We are looking for a detail-oriented Infrastructure Engineer who is proficient with technologies and hardware, and who flourishes in high-pressure environments. Working with numerous software programmes, clients and other technical staff, responsibilities include upgrading and improving operating environments, creating repair strategies, and providing technical support and training for users.
The Role
Installing, maintaining and monitoring operating environments.
Responding effectively and speedily to any problems.
Maintaining a professional demeanour with clients and colleagues.
Providing training and support.
Ensuring operating environments stay safe and secure.
Updating any software and hardware where necessary.
Documenting all reported malfunctions and actions taken in response.
Infrastructure Engineer Requirements
Required experience and qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent 3 years’ experience in a Level 3 position.
Project management experience
Ability to use database systems management software, enterprise resource planning
software and web platform development software. VOIP, Access Control Systems, Office 365 and Apache Tomcat knowledge
