Application Developer
Salary:Up to £60k DOE

Connect IT has partnered with a leading Engineering and Construction company who are looking for an experienced, process-driven Software Developer to build and maintain a bespoke interactive system, manage the full life cycle of the application, and provide coaching and training to all users.
You will be working closely with the compliance and management team to develop software and build applications to assist the company’s transition from its current Integrated Management System to a much more efficient platform.
Key Responsibilities
·Provide technical input, ensuring software and apps are designed and developed, in liaison with the compliance team, to deliver the desired outputs.
·Ensure thorough field testing is carried out prior to full implementation.
·Provide hands-on assistance with the implementation, coaching, training, and maintenance of the new systems.
·Facilitate the continued review of developed systems to identify areas of continuous improvements in line with advancements in new technologies.
Key criteria
·BSc or equivalent in a software engineering discipline (preferred)
·Significant development experience with excellent software and application skills and specialist knowledge in a range of technical areas
·Highly experienced in working with project management software
·Thorough understanding of testing
·Good experience in successfully delivering software development projects
·Strong experience with cloud technologies
·A thorough understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript
·Experienced C# .Net and JavaScript development
