Position: Data Scientist
Salary: Up to £100k Dependant on Experience
Location: SW London
Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days a week in the office, 3 days WFH)
A globally leading technology data analytics firm are looking for a hands-on, engineering and data-focussed Data Scientist to join their team in London. Working in a heavily data-driven role.
Required
· 3+ Years of Commercial Experience in a similar position covering statistics, analytics, big data, data science, machine learning, deep learning, cloud, mobile, and full-stack technologies.
· Hands-on experience analysing large amounts of data to derive actionable insights.
· Working knowledge of traditional statistical model building, machine learning, deep learning and NLP
· Experience in Tensorflow, Pytorch, Pytorch Lightning, hugging Face
· Ability to convert basic to intermediate research papers into workable code.
· Hands-on experience with Python, Scala, PySpark
Desirable:
· Database background (SQL, Hadoop, Apache Spark or other Big Data platforms) will be a distinct advantage.
· Broad Machine Learning experience - Algorithm Evaluation, Preparation, Analysis, Modelling and Execution.
· Knowledge of basic practices of deploying models using REST API, docker image, etc.
· Knowledge of Prototyping Apps using Streamlight/Gradio/Plotly-Dash
· Experience training models on CPU/GPU architecture.
· Degree in statistics, mathematics, operations research, economics, engineering or information science
