We are looking for a finance professional who is AAT qualified and has experience working in finance within a SME.
·Responsible for finalising and resolving bank reconciliations, auditing financial transactions, and handling VAT returns.
·Responsible for monthly payroll, administration of the pension scheme, the correct representation of employee benefits and confidently report to HMRC on earnings.
·Provide to the business a forecast of creditors and monthly payment runs.
·Assist with the smooth running of the operations finance department, in line with the evolving calendar timeline of events for financial reporting within the business.
·Use the operational tracking spreadsheets to audit, approve and send sales invoices and audit and approve the direct cost of sale on Xero, ensuring VAT and exchange rate entry is correct.
·Any ad hoc administrative tasks as required
·3+ years of finance experience
·AAT Level 4 qualification or AAT Level 3 studying to complete Level 4
·Experienced with accounting software e.g. Xero
·Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
