Full Stack Developer (Online Travel, Blockchain, Solidity)
Location:Poole
Work Style:Hybrid Working (3 Days in the office, 2 days WFH)
Salary:Up to £50k (Negotiable for the right candidate)
Connect IT has partnered with an online rental marketplace that is revolutionizing the way their customers find and book accommodations. Due to recent investments, we’re seeking a skilled and experienced Full-stack developer to join their team and help them build and maintain their platform.
Role and responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable software solutions for our client’s website
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and marketing, to identify and prioritize development needs
Understand the user journey of guests and property owners to create features that provide a best-in-class user experience
Develop and maintain front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Develop and maintain back-end code using languages such as PHP
Integrate blockchain technology using Ethereum and related tools
Have a strong understanding of Solidity and smart contracts
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, and continuously optimize the platform based on performance data
Required:
5+ years of experience in a similar software developer role, preferably in the travel, online marketplace, or web3 industry
Proficiency in front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Proficiency in back-end languages such as PHP
Expertise in blockchain programming (Solidity, ReactJS) using Ethereum and related tools
A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
Must be able to commute to our Poole office a minimum of 3 days per week
Must have a strong portfolio of both Solidity and full-stack dev work
Must have evidence of product work with meaningful results
