IT Systems Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer
Salary: Up to £40k (Depending on relevant skills and experience) plus BUPA health care, 30 days holiday plus 8 days bank holiday, Private pension, life assurance, and more!
Location: Home-based (The successful candidate will need to be able to attend the office in Glasgow when needed)

The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the company infrastructure and to deliver quality support to the users of the systems within the business. The support provided covers 2nd 3rd line duties.
Your primary regions of support cover, but are not limited to, the following European locations, Glasgow, Hamburg, Antwerp, Goes, Latvia, Odessa, Montreal.
The role shall cover a wide variety of tasks relating to the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network infrastructure.
Knowledge & Experience
Experience of deploying and administering a Microsoft Windows Server environment.
Experience of installing, configuring, and supporting a Microsoft Windows Desktop environment.
Proficient in performing maintenance tasks on desktop and server environments including deployment of system patches and software upgrades.
Experience of supporting client desktop and server hardware including associated peripherals and components.
Support and maintenance of client and server antivirus solutions.
Experience of administering Active Directory.
Good working knowledge of networking protocols and associated technologies including DHCP and DNS.
Microsoft Exchange 2013 & Exchange Online
Experience in administrating Office 365 products.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams.
Administration and support of VMWare virtual environments (vSphere, ESXI).
PowerShell scripting experience for the creation and administration of scripts.
Group Policy management and creation.
Experience with SQL databases including creating and running queries.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
