Connect IT Recruitment has partnered with a local application software company specialising in Social and the management of property Development.

We are pleased to be working with them on an exciting opportunity that has arisen for an enthusiastic .NET Developer to join their ever-expanding team. This role will have a focus on backend development connecting to multiple services.

All levels of experience will be considered, and you can look forward to training and learning resources being readily available and encouraged. Flexible working hours are an option and pension schemes, and other benefits are provided. The office is easily accessible and sits in central Bournemouth.

The Role:

·Building and maintaining a RESTful API using .NET 6 running in Azure.

·Collaborating and working with like-minded people across Product, Development, Testing and Project Management Teams.

·Problem-solving and debugging.

·Involvement in the project process – from estimating development work to helping refine designs.

What we would like to see:

·Commercial experience working in a client centric role preferably within a SaaS company.

·Great knowledge of C# and a scripting language such as PowerShell or Bash.

·Up-to-date knowledge of SOLID principles, separation of concerns and development practices for delivering good quality code.

·Experience in using Git to manage version control as well as reviewing code of other team members via pull requests.

·Great problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.

·Practical experience of working with JIRA.

·Understanding of CI/CD processes.

·Ability to demonstrate flexibility and operate in a changeable environment.

·A desire to learn continuously, pick up new skills and get to know new technologies.

·Brilliant communication skills and the ability to communicate credibly at all levels within an organisation.

Desirables:

·Keen interest in the mobile app industry and new technologies.

·Project management experience and knowledge of industry recognised working practices, such as SCRUM.

·Experience with unit testing (MSTest or similar framework) and TDD.

·Some exposure to GraphQL and Docker.

·Experience with a cloud provider, Azure preferred.
