Development Team Lead
Location: Gloucestershire
Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days in the office/2 days WFH)

Connect IT has partnered withone of the UK’s leading software solutions within the Fleet industry. Our client’s software helps coordinate their data into one platform, helping their customers be legally compliant and making their very complex jobs easier.
We are looking to hire a Team Leader to head up their team of dynamic and experienced developers. The right candidate for this position will need to work with both individual and departmental metrics, deal with challenging queries in a high-quality, customer-focused way and be committed to continued service improvement.
Responsibilities
•Oversee team member work to ensure compliance with guidelines and quality standards, while also assisting with their questions and problems.
•Foster effective communication within the team.
•Manage the workloads of each team member.
•Develop and implement strategies to enhance team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals.
•Conduct regular team meetings to update members on best practices and ongoing expectations.
•Support management in the hiring process and provide training for new team members.
•Collaborate with the compliance manager on technological aspects of GDPR and information security.
•Maintain close communication with the Scrum Master and Product Owner.
•Handle data management and contribute to application development.
•Address technical issues ("bugs") reported by customers and colleagues, promptly escalate to the IT director if the resolution is beyond the scope, and ensure timely communication with the originators.
•Monitor live application error logs for timely issue resolution.
•Manage test/live system administration.
•Gather and provide data to the line manager for KPI reporting, as defined.
Skills Required
•Strong knowledge of IT, web development, programming, and database management, with expertise in MSSQL.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•Skilled in web development technologies such as ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, and .Net Core MVC.
•Experienced in working with Azure pipelines and implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
•Proficient in JavaScript and various JavaScript frameworks.
•Familiar with Flutter and Dart for mobile app development
