Senior Account Manager
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum + commission (OTE £60,000 - £65,000)
Location: Fully Remote

We are partnered with one of theleading suppliers of education support services with a portfolio that includes the full spectrum of ICT, Finance, MIS and HR &Payroll offerings.
The Senior Account Manager will work closely with the Head of Sales, Sales Team, Marketing Team and Service Leads to deliver increased sales and revenue across all the business portfolio, whilst maintaining and growing our client base nationally.
About the role
·Retain and grow our existing client revenue through proactive account management
·Manage and prospect new and existing accounts, including Local Authorities and large Multi Academy Trusts to upsell, cross sell and gain insight across our services
·Identify new prospects and opportunities to help grow our services within the education sector
·Lead on and present product and software demonstrations to large accounts including to Local Authorities and Multi Academy Trusts
·Liaise with sales and marketing teams to identify new routes to increased revenue generation
·Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets set by the Head of Sales
·Liaise with the Service Leads and Partnerships Director to establish new opportunities in the education sector and to liaise with external business partners to drive sales opportunities and collaborations
·Participate in the writing and completion of tenders across our services
·Line management and/or mentorship of new starters and Account Managers
3+ years’ experience in a customer facing role such as Account Manager, Sales Manager or Recruitment Consultant (ideally in the education sector)
Experience in selling into the education sector or a sound understanding of the education landscape
Able to use appropriate sector knowledge to execute business opportunities and increase revenue
Able to sell, promote and demonstrate software and services to existing and prospective clients
Willingness to meet with clients face to face when necessary, to demonstrate and showcase services
Track record in maintaining excellent relationships with a client base and developing relationships with prospect clients through outbound activity and business development
