Connect-IT have partnered exclusively with a well-established, market-leading company that are seeking a New Business Development professional to join their expanding team in Manchester.

In this role, you’ll get to work with clients from hospitality, education, retail, local authorities to marketing and leisure.

  • Conduct outbound calls to targeted UK based companies across all sectors

  • Identify decision makers and business opportunities in target customers

  • Building target customer database, ranking size and likelihood of opportunity

  • Respond to customer enquiries, questions and concerns appropriately and timely

  • Contribute to team and sales meetings, driving improvements and outputs

  • Provision of feedback and data on the effectiveness of marketing activities, making recommendations for new/improved ways of working

  • Keep CRM system up to date through regular maintenance and reviews researching areas What you can bring.

  • Experience in sales and customer service • Good working knowledge of the point of sale industry would be beneficial

  • Excellent communication and rapport building skills

  • Ability to establish needs of others in order to provide the right product

  • Good internal and external stakeholder management

  • Ability to interpret and manage self against tracking systems and procedures
