Job Title: Software Developer
Reporting to: Product Owner
Location:Gloucester
Work Pattern:Full-Time, Monday – Friday 09:00-17:00, Hybrid Working
Please note that the site location for this role is not serviced by public transport and you will need a car to work in this position.
Connect IT has partnered withone of the UK’s leading software solutions within the Fleet industry. Due to continuous growth within the company, our client is looking to add an additional Software developer to their experienced Dev Team.
Role Specifications
·Application development
·Data management
·Working together with colleagues tofacilitatethe effective processing of customer requestssubmittedto our client’s support facility, including:
·Editing and creating reports in response to customer requests.
·Editing and creating data imports.
·Clarification of requirements, as necessary.
·Verification of solution and confirmation to colleague(s) and/or customer(s).
·Resolution of technical ‘bugs’ highlighted by customers and/or colleagues, prompt escalation where resolution is outside of remit and ensuring originator(s) are kept informed of fix progress/completion.
·Monitoring IT error logs.
·Collate andprovidedata to the line manager for KPI reporting as defined.
·Contribution toappropriate projectsas required, tofacilitatethe continuous evolution and improvement of our client’s software.
Essential
·Experience working in a similar programming role (2-3 Years of development experience)
·A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
·Reasonable knowledge/understanding of general office systems and procedures.
·IT/web/programming/database management knowledge.
·ASP.NET/C#/.Net Core
Desirable
·Some knowledge of fleet administration or another similar area of work.
·JavaScript/JS Frameworks
