Connect IT has partnered with a leading Software Solutions Provider in the growth of their Development Team.
We are looking for a candidate with specialised experience in OpenAPI (5+ years) who can play a crucial role in shaping an API-first architecture and creating customer-consumable RESTful APIs.
Role Responsibilities:
•Lead the implementation of OpenAPI 3.0, serving as the primary point of contact for its execution.
•Develop resilient and scalable architectures for both existing and new systems, ensuring top-tier code production through hands-on engineering.
•Collaborate with clients, product teams, and stakeholders to design API schemas, aligning with business requirements and client needs.
•Propose and enforce company-wide API design standards and best practices for continuous improvement.
•Design and document Microsoft-based API solutions, emphasizing schema designs that align with business requirements and client needs.
•Provide training and coaching to peers on integration design, schema modelling, and best practices.
•Offer constructive feedback to the product management team for ongoing product enhancement initiatives.
