Location: Madrid (home-based), with monthly meetings at my client offices in Madrid.
Are you an experienced VP of Technology passionate about innovation in the fintech industry? We have the perfect opportunity for you to join a rapidly growing scale-up and manage a development team of about 25 people.
About the Role:
As VP of Technology, you will lead a dynamic development team in shaping the future of finance. Your responsibilities will include team leadership, technical roadmap development, talent acquisition, and ensuring the realisation of our product vision.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a diverse development team.
Develop and communicate technical roadmap aligned with business goals.
Drive talent acquisition, retention, and growth.
Ensure high-quality product delivery through effective execution and adherence to industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape company and product strategy.
Required Experience:
6+ years experience in Head of Engineering roles or similar positions within SaaS and B2B fintech companies.
Demonstrated experience in managing frontend or backend teams through cross- functional projects and recording project progress.
Proficiency in Java Spring, React, and microservices.
Strong track record in team management and scaling organisations.
Experience with international team management.
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
